Our Open Mornings have now passed but if you would like to tour the school please call the school directly on 01761 433581 and ask to speak to Kim Hayes, PA to the Senior Leadership Team who can make an appointment for you. Parents of students currently in Year 6 who will be transferring to secondary in 2013 need to apply through the relevant local authority by 31 October 2012.


Summer School

This years summer school will be between Thursday 25 July 2013 – Wednesday 31 July 2013 inclusive. For more details please contact the school.


How to apply

Your application for a place at secondary school must be made to the Local Authority in which you live. You will receive a letter from the Local Authority containing your child’s UID (Unique Identification number). The UID number can then be used to make an application on line. Alternatively you can submit a paper application which can be downloaded from the Local Authority’s website. You are able to apply up to 31 October 2012. If you live in Somerset you must apply to Somerset Local Authority even though Writhlington School is in Bath and North East Somerset. Both local authorities have full information on how to apply on their websites.
