What is ParentPay?
It enables you to pay for school meals, school trips, uniform and much more using your debit and/or credit card
It gives you the freedom to make payments to school whenever and wherever you like
It stops you having to write cheques or search for cash to send to school
It allows you to spread the cost of payments if you choose to use your credit card
How can you use it at Writhlington?
School Meals
We currently offer a pre-pay lunch card which will entitle your child to ten Meal Deals for £23.50 – providing a discount of 50p. If you purchase a card it will be available to collect the next day by your child as he/she collects a meal. You will be assured that your child is having a healthy lunch, rather than spending your money elsewhere.
Music Tuition
If your child receives Music Tuition you will continue to be sent invoices by post. However you will able to pay the invoice online.
School Trips
School trips can also be paid for on line. Each trip will have different payments terms and requirements and you will be informed of these by the Teacher organising the trip. You will be able to pay deposits and instalments on line. Trip information will also be accessible through Parentpay so you do not need to search elsewhere for information. An online consent will be added for trips so that you can simply tick a box (linked into an information page so you know what you are consenting to), rather than filling in and returning a form.

Please check the website and see what is on offer at different times of the year!
If you do not have a bank account or credit card we can offer you a Paypoint card. These cards can be ‘topped up’ at specific retailer outlets and used to pay for any of the above. If you wish to have a Paypoint card then please contact Sacha Parsons at school. There are a number of local outlets including a local store directly opposite the school.
We hope that this new system will ease the burden for everyone, including parents. You can also be assured that your money is going straight into our bank account and that your child does not have to bring money into school.
PLEASE HELP SUPPORT US BY USING PARENTPAY. THIS WILL NOW BE OUR PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT AND WE ASK YOU ALL KINDLY TO NOT PAY BY CASH OR CHEQUE UNLESS ABSOLUTELEY NECESSARY.
