It is particularly relevant for those considering IT professional or business oriented roles and reflects the inextricable intertwining of IT and business in today's world of work. This is an exciting opportunity where students are able to work on projects that are real and allow them to interact with local industry on a commercial level by providing them with a service Students are also able to develop their personal, social and moral selves by working as a team, with local businesses and organisations as well as taking ownership and responsibility for their work. The students themselves recognise that they are gaining skills and experience that are transferable and will therefore benefit them across the curriculum and after leaving education.
