As you are aware the Music Department plays a vital role in the life of our school. Our students are involved in numerous bands and ensemble groups performing both at school, within the community and far away, including raising money for charity.

The Writhlington Music Association has, over the years, raised £20,000 but this is an ongoing project for maintaining, repairing and purchasing new instruments and music.

We are looking for new members to come and help us have fun at our concerts, you don’t have to be musical but if you can make a cup of tea and have a good sense of humour your help would be invaluable.
